Dwell 475

MIAMI FLORIDA

Dwell is aiming to provide creative housing solutions for millennials looking to dwell in Miami’s urban core within easy commute to their work and play zones.

The building is a clean-cut rectangular prism with superficial articulations, exploiting playful use of geometry. 3D spatial illusions are created by juxtaposing lines into the irregular window openings. Exploiting the use of wall murals in architecture, the building is dressed up with an “architectonic mural”, which is ephemeral in its nature and it can be re-interpreted at a future time relating to the future messages the building elects to communicate to its context. The architectonic mural becomes an indispensable element of its design identity and conveys its message.

The Dwell concept reflects youth, dynamism, embracing change and fits soundly into its cultural melting pot iconic Miami neighborhood, Little Havana’s eclectic architectural library.

Dwell is a green building by definition. It is built with zero-parking promoting zero-foot-print walk and cycle movement.
